Cellars at Château La Grâce Dieu – Saint-Émilion

Our strenghts:

  • Respect for and preservation of the building’s architecture
  • Modernisation and automation of access control
  • Improving the customer experience

Saint-Émilion, a town in south-western France with a rich religious history dating back to the arrival of the monk Émilion in the 8th century, has seen the development of numerous convents and churches, among which the Priory of ‘À La Grâce de Dieu’ stands out; its name inspired the Château La Grâce Dieu. Today, this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is run by the fourth generation of the Pauty family, renowned for the quality of its wines, the result of Christine and Valérie’s passionate commitment to managing the vineyard and crafting the wines.

To enhance the comfort and accessibility of their cellars, they chose to rely on Portalp’s expertise. The new automatic doors, which have been carefully integrated into the estate’s stone architecture, ensure that visits to the site are an enjoyable experience for all visitors. This solution helps to provide a seamless and modern user experience, whilst preserving the authenticity of this historic site.
