Cellars at Château La Grâce Dieu – Saint-Émilion

Our strenghts:

  • Respect for and preservation of the building’s architecture
  • Modernisation and automation of access control
  • Improving the customer experience

Saint-Émilion, located in south-western France, boasts a rich religious heritage shaped by the monk Émilion, who founded numerous monasteries and churches in the 8th century. Among these, the Priory of “À La Grâce de Dieu” holds special significance, having inspired the name of Château La Grâce Dieu. Today, this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is managed by the fourth generation of the Pauty family, whose commitment to excellence has earned the estate a reputation for producing outstanding wines. This success is driven by the dedication and expertise of Christine and Valérie, who oversee both the vineyard and the winemaking process.

To improve the comfort and accessibility of its cellars, the estate turned to Portalp’s expertise. The new automatic doors have been seamlessly integrated into the property’s historic stone architecture, enhancing the visitor experience while respecting the character of the site. This solution provides modern, intuitive access and contributes to a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests, while preserving the authenticity of this remarkable heritage location.
